KUPA INC ACQUIRES Erika “Ricky” Barnett
(Barnett Takes on New Role with Anaheim, CA-Based Brand Effective 02/05/2019)
Richard Hurter, President, and CEO of Kupa Inc. has announced the addition of former Creative Director of Freedom Rave Wear LLC to the Kupa Incorporated team. Ricky Barnett will be tasked with the role of Social Media Associate and will help Kupa expand its digital presence as it benefits from her experience in media management.
According to Hurter, “This is a very important position for us as we continue to grow our digital advertising, media and social presence. We have spent nearly a year looking for just the right person and feel we are lucky to have found Ricky. Times are changing, Kupa will always be at the forefront of that change so that we can continue to communicate with our customer.”
According to Elaine Watson, Executive Vice President of Kupa, “Ricky’s has so many beneficial strengths than just social media. Her experience in graphics and promotional videos will be a welcomed addition to our audio and video team. She will help expand our weekly nail programs across all media platforms, allowing us to come into the homes/salons our nail fans and professionals."
Passing the torch to Ricky is Rachael Wilson, Director of Procurement. According to Wilson, “Team Kupa is excited for the fresh new look that Ricky will provide Kupa Inc. She will be dealing with the branding of our social media avenues in her new position. She brings a wide range of experience within the social world. We hope to see her take the products that Kupa has to offer directly into the hands of our pro’s and the fingers of their customers.”.
As the Social Media Associate, Ricky will be responsible for keeping social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Youtube up to date with relevant and interesting content. Her presence at beauty shows will help our fans follow along from home, even if they can’t make it. Other things you can expect to see from her: the Kupa Blog, videos and so much more. In the midst of all this, she will be brainstorming fresh new ideas to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement.
Ricky on her new position here at Kupa, “I can not wait to dive head first into this position and create a community for nail techs to be apart of on social media platforms. I hope to create fun and exciting content to post to the various platforms. As well as propose forward-thinking campaigns to help Kupa Inc grow to its full potential! I am excited to get to know our customers and cater to their interests!”
